Our team is based in the heart of Vienna, but we operate on an international level. Founded in 2021, we are currently hiring the core team of our studio. This core team consists of around 10 dedicated and driven people, who are hands-on startup builders and want to shape the future through the ventures we are building.

• In this role, you have the lead the fundraising efforts and all financial aspects of trive and our portfolio startups. However, you constantly collaborate with a team of driven and dedicated professionals and additionally gain insights into all other specialisations of a startup building process.

We’re on the lookout for a talented Investment Lead. Key activities include fundraising (strategies), investors networking and portfolio management. If you enjoy making our startup portfolio successful by contributing your strong investment experience, this is your role.

Responsibilities for our portfolio startups:

• Support our co-founders in raising money from funding agencies, banks, business angels and venture capitalists in all stages from pre-seed to Series A.

• You're responsible for the investor's relations within Europe and support our startups in succeeding at investor pitches.

• You educate our strong VC network about the startup studio model and make sure that our startups are attractive investments to them.

Responsibilities for trive:

• You are in charge of our portfolio strategy and operations. Which startup should raise how much? From whom? When? When should we exit and how? You call the shots.

• You manage and communicate with our own trive studio investors. You prepare the joint decision making about our portfolio strategy from building to exit.

• Read our values and make sure your mindset fits ours!

• Significant experience in venture capital or in a venture-backed start-up in a demanding, fast-paced, leading finance role.

• Strong experience in raising capital from different sources (e.g. Business Angels, VC Series A/B, funding agencies, bank financing) and managing capital providers (you know what they’re after).

• A strong investors network in Europe from pre-seed to series A.

• Being an entrepreneur at heart, who loves to work in teams.
  

• High ambition and drive to achieve excellent results.
  

• Fluency in English, excellent written and verbal skills.

• According to Austrian law, we are required to state a minimum salary for this position. The expected minimum salary for this role is EUR 61,000.00 gross annually. As our team consists of entrepreneurs, you also benefit from the success of the portfolio we are building.
