Our team is based in the heart of Vienna, but we operate on an international level. Founded in 2021, we are currently hiring the core team of our studio. This core team consists of around 10 dedicated and driven people, who are hands-on startup builders and want to shape the future through the ventures we are building.

In this role, you have the lead in developing our companies from a very early stage to their independence. However, you constantly collaborate with a team of driven and dedicated professionals and additionally gain insights into all other specialisations of a startup building process.
Your role & responsibilities
If you enjoy discovering, promoting and transforming ideas into start-ups as well as lead them towards their way to success, then this is your role. Your responsibilities:
You have the lead across the main stages of the startup building process, including ideation (plus validation), building (product development) and growing (product-market fit). It means you manage our “startup project” from the beginning to their full independence.
You identify and analyse together with our sourcing strategist and the studio team potential problems/ideas, trends and technologies. You evaluate and test their start-up potential (in terms of business, design and technology).
You define business model options and business cases for these problems and ideas.
You collaborate with the studio team, external partners, potential customers and users, to create first prototypes for these ideas. During the prototype phase, you test and validate all assumptions while creating a sensitivity for key success indicators.
You develop, together with the studio team and the startup co-founders, an MVP (plus minimum viable business) out of this prototype under all given constraints.
After launching the MVP, you start testing with real customers to get relevant traction that brings us closer to a product-market fit by constantly adopting/considering customer needs in an agile way.
You support the co-founders in growing their business in the first couple of months in all aspects (business, design and technology) needed, by orchestrating the studio, the startup team and external partners. The ultimate goal at this phase to enable it to be a completely independent company.
What you need to succeed

A strong track record in product design, product development and product management. Excellent technical skills would be a plus.
A track record of leadership- and management skills in all phases of company development. You have the head of a strategist (including business modelling/planning) and the heart of an executor. Experience as a co-founder/COO of a start-up is a plus.
Knowledge of methods & tools that are crucial for this role - design thinking, lean startup, design sprints, strategy & business design, agile development and Confluence, Jira, Miro, MS Office.
Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building successful businesses in teams.
Fluency in English, excellent written and verbal skills.
Last but not least: creativity and a can-do-mentality, high ambition and drive to achieve excellent results.

According to Austrian law, we are required to state a minimum salary for this position. The expected minimum salary for this role is EUR 52,000.00 gross annually. As our team consists of entrepreneurs, you also benefit from the success of the portfolio we are building.
